No Offense, But I Have Faith in PPP

By Daud

Few days back I travelled from Lahore to Islamabad on GT road for the first time in my life. It was a really great experience, and it felt like seeing the whole country in one go. I saw people from all walks of life and I could tell their stories by just looking at them.

But the most astonishing thing which caught my attention was the Jalsa of Mr. Raja Perwaz Ashraf, the Prime Minister of Pakistan. There were rallies going towards Gujar Khan to attend the Jalsa – not “rallies” to be exact, but “huge crowds”. People of all age groups and from all aspects of life, from rich to poor, literate to illiterate, comprised those crowds.

The rallies were properly organized, leaving sufficient space for other traffic to cross easily.

After seeing all this, I had to conclude that no matter what the media says about Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), no one can stop it from winning the next election. We all hear a lot of negative stuff about PPP but after experiencing the passion of its supporters, I believe the ground reality is totally different.
